The Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan (CEC) has met with representatives of a delegation from India, who arrived in Uzbekistan to monitor the preparation process for the early Presidential Elections of Uzbekistan.

According to the CEC, the meeting was attended by the Deputy Chair of the Central Election Commission Bakhrom Kuchkarov, Commission member Gulnoza Rakhimova, Election Commissioner of the Election Commission of India Anup Chandra Pandey, Ambassador Manish Prabhat.

The delegation members were informed about the ongoing preparations for the elections and their conduction.

Early elections for the President of Uzbekistan will be held on July 9.

As previously reported, 56 polling stations are created at the diplomatic and other representations of Uzbekistan in foreign countries.
