As previously reported, Nurafshan hosts the Session of Tashkent Regional Council of People’s Deputies.

In his speech, the candidate for the post of head of the region provided information on the most pressing problems of the region and made proposals for their solution.

In particular, it is planned to provide permanent employment for 150 thousand people to develop entrepreneurship, bring 40 thousand families out of poverty, establish the activities of 15 thousand entrepreneurs, and create 6.5 thousand service and trade facilities.

Based on this, the President instructed authorized persons:

• to allocate 200 billion UZS for family business programs this year, and another 850 billion UZS next year;

• by January 1, 2025, establish rates of land, property and turnover taxes at the rate of 1 percent, income tax at the rate of 50 percent, reduce the initial cost of unsold state-owned objects 2 times in Pskent, Buka, Bekabad and Akkurgan districts, where entrepreneurship is underdeveloped;

• by the end of the year, create employment centers for women in 34 mahallas.
