The event was attended by responsible persons of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan Writers Unions, the Republican Kyrgyz National Cultural Center, the khokimiyat of Tashkent region, writers, poets, literary scholars, youth, representatives of the general public.
At the meeting, participants talked about the life and work of the writer, his best works, sincere attitude to Uzbekistan people and literature.
Uzbekistan Writers Union presented 100 books by Chingiz Aytmatov and Uzbekistan writers to the library of the school, where more than 380 children study.
Khokim of Tashkent region G.Ibragimov delivered a speech at the event.
