The Continental Youth Hockey Championship in Mongolia ended with a bright victory for Uzbekistan national team.
Uzbekistan’s hockey players, who in the previous round defeated the national team of Thailand with a score of 10:2, in the last, fifth round, faced off against hockey players from the United Arab Emirates. They beat the UAE team with a score of 8:1.

The hockey players of Uzbekistan national team took first place with 15 points, the team of Turkmenistan, who scored 12 points, took second place, and the tournament hosts, Mongolian hockey players, closed the top three with 6 points.
A member of the national team of Uzbekistan, Jasurbek Rustamkhonov, was recognized as the player who scored the most goals during the tournament. In addition, he set a new continental championship record for the number of goals sent to the opponent’s goal. Jasurbek conquered the gates of opponents 14 times.
