The republican stage of the competition organized by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education “The Best School for Teaching Foreign Languages” for the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held.

The competition was held in three stages among students aged 14-16. It was attended by 34 thousand 410 students from 6 thousand 882 schools.

The final stage of the competition was held in Tashkent. 70 best students from 14 regions of the country participated in it.

At the republican stage, knowledge was assessed based on the Cambridge Assessment English examination system. 

According to the final results, the 1st place was taken by school No.7 of Namangan. 2nd place was taken by school No.145 of Yashnabad district of Tashkent. The 3rd place went to school No.1 of Bukhara district of Bukhara region.

Winners in nominations for language skills were also determined.
