Graduates of the Samarkand Military Automobile Command-Engineering Higher School have been awarded diplomas and badges.Chairman of the Senate Committee for Defense and Security – member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan Farrukh Dadakhojaev, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Soliev and other speakers at the official event organized on the occasion noted that a particular significance is attached in the reforms spearheaded under the leadership of President Islam Karimov within the system of the armed forces of the country to training highly qualified officer cadres for the national military.
At the Samarkand Military Automobile Command-Engineering Higher School that trains officers in such majors as tactical command of automobile subdivisions, tactical command of logistics, and all the conditions and opportunities are created for the cadets to obtain knowledge and skills in line with modern requirements. The availability of special offices and information technologies, modern military technology and equipment intended for carrying out theoretical and practical classes, gyms as well as the Information Resource Center promote the formation of cadets who chose the military profession as leading experts in their field.
“I myself am a military serviceman, and thus I well understand the honor and responsibility of this profession,” says Yusufjon Turakulov. “About all this I told my son Akbarjon, when he decided to become an army man. The four-year education at the Higher School has strengthened his faith in himself and determination. Today, when I saw my son in uniform, I felt something like a boundless pride. I am sure that he will be honored to perform his duties, while remaining faithful to the oath taken before the Motherland and the people.”
“In childhood, many dream of becoming soldiers,” suggests Lieutenant Yusuf Azamov. “But not everyone is able to realize that dream. I am very glad that today my dream has come true, and I became a defender of the Motherland. I want to use all the knowledge and skills I have acquired here to meet the confidence of the people, to make a worthy contribution to the peace and tranquility of our country.”
Toward the end of the official event, the participants were presented a concert show by the Central Ensemble of Songs and Dances of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan as well as expressive performances by cadets of the Higher School.
