A spiritual enlightenment event entitled “My life, my destiny – my native unique Uzbekistan” has taken place in Urtachirchik District of Tashkent Region.

Prominent poets and writers, artists, spiritual enlighteners and young people took part in the event held by the Republican centre of spirituality together with the regional governorate and spiritual enlightenment council.

It was especially noted that large-scale reforms being implemented in the years of independence under the leadership of our country’s President, the constant attention being paid to achieving steady economic development and raising people’s wellbeing were giving weighty results. Young people who are our base of support and hope are being brought up independently with a new way of thinking, extensive modern knowledge and professions as true patriots capable of taking on responsibility for the homeland’s destiny and future.

There was an exchange of views on celebrating the greatest and dearest holiday – the 25th anniversary of our homeland’s independence - in a peaceful and calm atmosphere in a worthy manner and with lifted spirits. An important guidance document of action in this area is a resolution of 2 June this year by our country’s President “On making preparations for and celebrating the 25th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The event concluded with a concert with the participation of prominent artistes and young performers.
