The opening ceremony of the exhibition “The Art of Bonsai – the Harmony of Nature” was held at the Ikuo Hirayama International Caravanserai of Culture of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

The history of the art of Bonsai is a unique field of plant growing. In the current sense, Bonsai is the art of growing an exact copy of a real tree (or another plant) in miniature.
Modern Bonsai is a living example of natural beauty, created by the harmonious unity of the three main elements – plant, soil and container.

The exhibition presents 18 specimens of Bonsai grown by Nurilla Aliyev.
Nurilla Aliyev has been fond of the art of Bonsai for about 8 years. He was trained by the Russian master Andrey Darusenkov.
Visitors to the exhibition can also get acquainted with works by the artist Gayane Matevosyan, made in the Sumi-E genre, complementing the exposition, several dummies of trees and samples of Bonsai pots.
