A plogging campaign was held in the city of Bobur under the slogan “We Stand for Cleanliness!”.
The event, organized by the Andijan Regional Department for Youth Affairs, the regional council of the Youth Union, and the regional branch of the Children’s Organization of Uzbekistan, aimed to maintain the area’s cleanliness and tidiness, further enhance young people’s ecological culture, and promote a healthy lifestyle. Members of the “Young Ecologists” movement, volunteer students, youth leaders, and active schoolchildren took part in the campaign.

Hundreds of young participants in the campaign cleaned the city area of plastic, polyethylene, and other waste.

“By participating in the campaign, we contributed to keeping our city clean”, says event participant Mukhlisa Karimova. “Most importantly, I am delighted that my peers are not indifferent to this cause. If we unite, we can accomplish many more good deeds like this”.

The activities were coordinated, and the participants were provided with gloves and special bags for collecting waste. Equipment was also deployed to remove the accumulated waste.

This campaign contributed to increased activity, teamwork skills, and a sense of responsibility among young people to protect and care for nature.
