On May 21, 2018, delegation of international non-governmental organization Amnesty International, led by Regional Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Marie Struthers arrived in Tashkent.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it is planned to hold meetings at the General Prosecutor's Office, the Supreme Court, the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Internal Affairs, Justice, Higher and Secondary Special Education, the National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Association of Non-Governmental and Non-Profit Organizations, the Independent Institute for Monitoring Formation of Civil Society, with the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Oliy Majlis, as well as visit Tashkent State Institute of Law.
