Issues of practical implementation of agreements at the highest level, accelerating the preparation and promotion of large investment projects were discussed in detail during a telephone conversation between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on July 13.

The Amir of Qatar cordially congratulated the Leader of Uzbekistan on his convincing victory in the recent Uzbekistan Presidential Election.

On behalf of the friendly people of Qatar, the Amir wished peace, well-being, sustainable development, and prosperity to the President and the multinational people of Uzbekistan.

The two countries’ leaders agreed to take the necessary measures to ensure the unconditional implementation of the agreements adopted during the state visit of the Amir of Qatar to the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 5-6 this year.

The importance of holding a meeting of the joint Intergovernmental Commission and a Business Forum with the participation of leading companies of the two countries was emphasized.
