The Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who arrived in Uzbekistan at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on a working visit, has departed for his country.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and other officials saw off the high-ranking guest at Tashkent International Airport.

As previously reported, today, high-level Uzbekistan – Qatar negotiations took place. The heads of the two states took part in the official ceremony of presenting the International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award, established on the initiative of the Amir of Qatar.

It should be noted that the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, paid a state visit to Qatar on 1-2 October this year.
