The head of Bukhara region, Botir Zaripov, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda, who is staying in the region.

During the sincere conversation, practical issues of implementing the agreements reached during bilateral meetings of the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan were discussed.

The Ambassador of Tajikistan highly appreciated the potential of Bukhara region and noted that there are opportunities for developing trade and investment relations, including the creation of joint ventures and strengthening financial cooperation.

Ambassador Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda got acquainted with the activities of the China Xiang Yang enterprise, which produces paper products, Demir Gypsum, which produces plasterboard, and the textile enterprise Gayrat Chodak in Kagan district.

He also visited Bukhara State University and the house-museum of Sadriddin Aini in Gijduvan district.
