The Ambassador of Uzbekistan meets with the Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Mukhsinkhoja Abdurakhmanov met with the Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Yoichi Fukazawa.

“Uzbekistan is distinguished by peace, political and economic stability”, Yoichi Fukazawa said. “The results of large-scale reforms implemented in your country in recent years deserve special praise. Japan views Uzbekistan as a strategic partner in the Central Asian region”.

The Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs also focused on the results of the recent productive visit of the Uzbekistan delegation to Japan, during which bilateral meetings and a joint business forum were successfully held.

In particular, it was reported that the participation of about 300 companies operating in various sectors of the Japanese economy in Uzbekistan – Japan Business Forum is evidence of the great interest of the Japanese side in investing in Uzbekistan, strengthening and enhancing economic collaboration.
