The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Bakhrom Aloyev has met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Ali Sulaiman Al-Sayyid.

The Kuwaiti side received a message from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov addressed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah with an invitation to the International High-Level Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities” to be held in Tashkent.

The Kuwaiti diplomat highly appreciated the efforts made by the leadership of Uzbekistan and concrete measures to promote the Afghan peace process, the provision of all-round support in ensuring peace and stability in Afghanistan and the economic recovery of this country.

Other issues of cooperation were also discussed at the meeting, including the schedule for the next inter-MFA political consultations and the 1st meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
