Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania with residence in Astana, Gintautas Vasiulis.

At the meeting, the parties confirmed mutual readiness to intensify relations between Uzbekistan and Lithuania, discussed specific proposals to increase cooperation in various fields, and exchanged views on the interaction of the two countries within the framework of regional and international structures.
