TURKSOY held a meeting in Azerbaijan’s Shusha, declared the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World for 2023.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was attended by heads of state theaters of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Northern Cyprus and Türkiye.

The results of the activities of the state theaters of the TURKSOY member countries for the past theater season were summed up. Joint projects awaiting implementation, the exchange of art on stage work, and cooperation plans for the new year 2024 were discussed.

Following the meeting, proposals were made regarding the 10th General Assembly Meeting of Theatre Directors of TURKSOY Member Countries, particularly its location.
