During the 2nd CIS Games, which are held in 11 cities of Belarus, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mariana Vasileva announced that the 3rd CIS Games will take place in Azerbaijan’s Ganja, TASS news agency reports.

Ganja is the second largest city after Baku. A new modern complex will be built here to host the CIS Games.

According to the Republic of Azerbaijan sports representative, the issue of holding competitions in the format of regions will be considered. In addition to Olympic sports, traditional sports will be included in the games system.

The 3rd CIS Games will take place in 2025.
