A festive event on the occasion of the 31st Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan was held at the Embassy of the country in China, with the participation of compatriots studying and working in China.

It was noted that over the years of independence, large-scale reforms have been carried out in Uzbekistan in all spheres. A peaceful policy, a state course in ensuring interethnic harmony and tolerance in society are being carried out.

The participants of the event were informed about the essence and content of the Resolution of the President of Uzbekistan of August 1, 2022 “On the preparation and holding at a high level of the celebration of the 31^st Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

Information was also provided on the transformations taking place in Uzbekistan, constitutional reforms, and the special attention of the state to compatriots abroad.
