Several issues were considered at the regular discussion as part of the 40th meeting of the Permanent Council of Ministers of Culture of TURKSOY, which took place in Shusha, Azerbaijan.
In particular, the “TURKSOY Nazari” project was discussed, based on which tasks aimed at further developing the culture of the Turkic world, developing the structure of the organization taking into account the increased volume of work, and expanding the scope of cooperation were discussed in detail.

Views were also exchanged on projects aimed at comprehensive support for the creative youth of the TURKSOY member states.
In addition, the issue of assigning the status of “Cultural Capital of the Turkic World” based on the alphabet from 2025 was unanimously approved.
The states of the Turkic world have outlined a plan of events to perpetuate the memory of historical figures, particularly to widely celebrate the 130th anniversary of Abdulla Qodiriy’s birth this year.

According to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an agreement was reached on establishing a working commission to compile a list of the Turkic peoples’ tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
