At the opening of the fair it was noted that the work implemented in the years of independence on the formation of the socially oriented market economy, the expansion of area under cultivation for food crops, the development of farmers' movement and processing industry yields significant results. In accordance with the resolution of the First President of our country Islam Karimov “On measures on improving system of procurement and use of fruits, vegetables, potatoes and melons” from April 12, 2016, are increasingly expanding the cultivation of agricultural products, increasing volumes of its processing and export.

At the fair, held in order to create facilities for the conclusion direct contracts for the purchase fruits and vegetables cultivated in the region, was attended by representatives of about a hundred organizations of the social sphere. The contracts concluded with producers were registered without further competitions and tenders.

The most active participants of the fair were awarded with special diplomas and memorable gifts.
