More than 500 experienced builders were engaged in construction and installation activities. The roof and facade of the building were repaired. Waiting and service rooms have acquired a modern look as a result of repair and restoration activities. Mother and child room is newly equipped. Modern lighting system has been installed and apron has been repaired.

Electronic window with schedule of passenger trains, information boards on the platform and in the waiting room have been installed. Electronic library and Wi-Fi system have been introduced. Lounges, a special bathroom for the disabled, shopping pavilions for sale of products made by Surkhandarya artisans are organized.

The station employs 125 workers and employees. Conditions for a one-time service of 200, and 1200 passengers during the day have been created.
