Termez National Carpets localizes over 70 percent of raw materials
The Termez National Carpets enterprise operating in Surkhandarya region was launched in August 2022.
The enterprise, with a project cost of 20.2 million euros, is equipped with the latest technologies imported from Germany, Belgium, and Türkiye. All equipment operates based on an automated control system. There are also 4 large weaving looms, each designed to produce 1500-2000 square meters of carpet daily. It is important to note that energy-efficient technologies have been introduced into production.
Over 70 percent of the raw materials used in carpet production are locally manufactured. In particular, polypropylene raw materials are purchased from the Uz-Kor Gas Chemical enterprise. The remaining 30 percent of raw materials are imported from Türkiye and Bangladesh.
