A ten-volume manual has been prepared in five months with involvement of scientists and professors.
In accordance with the instructions of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and based on the legitimate interests and rights of journalists, the Agency for Information and Mass Communications was given the task to prepare and publish a journalism manual taking into account international experience and research by scientists. Thus, a ten-volume manual was prepared in five months with involvement of scientists and professors.
The Information and Mass Communications Agency under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted the presentation of this manual.
The event was attended by members of the Senate, deputies, representatives of the Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan, journalists, professors and students.
Each volume of the manual (“Theory, history and development of journalism”, “Journalistic law and ethics”, “Media linguistics and editing”, “Media marketing and management”, “Genres and issues of mastery in print media”, “Audiovisual journalism”, “Online journalism and new media trends”, “PR services in modern media sphere”, “Specialized journalism”, “Sociology and psychology of journalism”) is published in a circulation of 1000 copies.
This ten-volume manual will become a worthy gift in the Year of Science, Enlightenment and Digital Economy Development. It will contribute to further development of an openness policy, which is gaining momentum in the country, strengthening theoretical knowledge of journalists and bloggers who are considered the main participants in this process.
