On October 5-9, Kazakhstan’s Aktau hosted the First International TurkicSkills 2025 Professional Championship.
Seventy young people from 8 countries, including Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, as well as more than 90 qualified specialists, took part in the championship.

The participants competed in 10 professions across various fields, including engineering, information technology, manufacturing, robotics, and service.
The Uzbekistan national team, comprising students and specialists from six technical schools in the Fergana, Samarkand, and Bukhara regions, participated in seven areas: web technology, automotive technology, plumbing and heating systems, electrical installation, welding, graphic design, and cooking.

Javokhir Kholikulov, a student of Polytechnic No. 1 in Pakhtachi district, took the honorable second place in welding, and Saidumar Norkoziyev, a student of Polytechnic No. 1 in Bulungur district, showed high results in electrical installation and was awarded the Medal of Excellence.
Following the championship’s results, the TurkicSkills relay was handed over to Uzbekistan. In 2026, prestigious competitions will take place in Samarkand.

The TurkicSkills 2026 will serve to strengthen friendship, solidarity, and professional skills among the youth of the Turkic-speaking countries.
