The selection of teachers applying for a monthly salary supplement will be carried out at the expense of the Fund of the Minister of Public Education. The tests will be conducted in two stages.

In what order and based on what criteria will candidates be selected? The Head of the Ministry of Public Education Information Service Laylo Rustamova answered these questions.

“At the first stage, the State Testing Center will conduct tests in the relevant areas among candidate teachers submitted by the hokimiyats of Karakalpakstan, regions, Tashkent city”, says L. Rustamova. “Candidates who have scored 80 percent or more of the maximum test scores will receive a pass to the second stage. The knowledge of teachers will be evaluated by a working group of active members of the public and experienced teachers. Based on relevant legislation, specific quotas have been determined for education quality indicators. They are distributed according to the results of entrance exams to Presidential, creative and special schools, higher education institutions in the corresponding academic year based on the quality of education of graduates of institutions of general secondary education. Up to 2 thousand candidates can be identified in the competition. The corresponding district or city represents no more than three candidates for this quota in each direction. If the number of candidates does not cover the number of quotas, an additional competition among candidates can be held next year. The allowance will be paid 9 months from the date of the release of the relevant order of the Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Exams will be held on December 16 in all regions of the country. The time, place of the exams and the number of participants are published on the official website of the Ministry of Public Education.
