The republican stage of the competition Taxation Experts among students of secondary special and vocational training establishments has been held in Samarqand.

Teams from all the territories of the country participated in the competition. At the opening ceremony of the competition, the first deputy director of the republican secondary special and vocational training centre, H.Zikirillayev; the chief of the Samarqand Region state tax directorate, A.Mirzarahimov; and others said that special attention was being given under the leadership of the country’s President to the realization of the potential and knowledge of the younger generation and to support for talented youths.

The competition was arranged in accordance with the programme of additional measures to implement the state youth policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the year 2016. The purpose of the competition is to increase students’ knowledge in the sphere of taxation legislation and to develop their practical experience.

During the competition, students had their knowledge tested in four areas. The jury made up of tax inspectors and qualified specialists evaluated the teams’ performance.
