The document was signed on December 19, 2019 in Tokyo during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Japan.
The Convention is aimed at expanding trade, economic and investment potential by creating a favorable tax environment and a solid legal basis for bilateral relations in the tax sphere that meets modern international standards of transparency in tax administration.
