Tatarstan delegation visits Bukhara

A delegation of heads of large companies led by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko visited Bukhara.

Modern industrial facilities based on high technologies will be put into operation in Bukhara Industry Development Complex, and the production of finished products that are competitive in the domestic and foreign markets will be established.

Implementing the project’s first stage, which costs $300 million, will create 2,000 jobs and annually increase the volume of value added in the regional economy by $250 million, tax revenues by 250 billion UZS, and product exports by $100 million.

The guests were informed about the trade-economic and investment potential of the region and provided benefits. The parties’ projects were presented, and a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed.

At the meeting between Mr. Korobchenko and Hokim of the region Botir Zaripov, trade-economic and investment cooperation issues between the two regions were discussed, and necessary agreements were reached.
