Caspian Energy Club is a large regional organization that unites more than 5,000 companies and organizations from 50 countries operating on the territory of the states of the Black Sea-Caspian and Baltic regions. Official representative offices are operating in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan.
The members of this club expressed their desire for large-scale cooperation with Uzbekistan. This was stated at a meeting with a delegation led by the Сhairman of the Caspian Energy Club Telman Aliyev.
Prospects for establishing bilateral cooperation, taking into account the joint implementation of investment projects in the information-communication sphere, pharmaceutical and textile industries, were discussed at the event, which was held at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade.
The presentation of favorable conditions created in Uzbekistan for foreign investors took place and readiness to provide comprehensive support for their activities was expressed.
An agreement was reached on holding regular conferences between the Caspian Energy Club and the Agency for Attracting Foreign Investment of Uzbekistan, as well as on organizing a visit of a delegation of representatives of IT companies and textile manufacturers of Azerbaijan to work out issues of implementing joint projects.
Issues of establishing information cooperation were discussed.
Following the meeting, mutual interest was expressed in deepening bilateral cooperation and an agreement was reached to open an office of the Caspian Energy Club in Tashkent in connection with the growing interest of the business circles of the region in establishing a business in Uzbekistan.
