The Third National Art and Traditions Festival, “Makon Fest-2024”, will be organized in Tashkent to celebrate the Navruz holiday worthily.
This major event, organized by the Ministry of Culture together with the Tourism Development Agency, the Makon Festival Association, and several government and non-government organizations, will take place on March 20-24 in an open area on the territory of the National Park in Tashkent.
The motto “We have one home – Uzbekistan” was chosen for the event, the program of which reflects the richness of the culture of the country, its unique art and gastronomic diversity. Residents, guests, and tourists from Italy, the United States, China, Russia, France, Switzerland, Japan, the United Kingdom, Israel, Spain, Greece, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and other countries are invited to the festival. During five days, visitors can enjoy concerts of national and modern music, performances by dance groups, and fun folklore games.
The tightrope walkers’ performances will be especially spectacular. With their incomparable skill and courage, they will take the audience into the world of circus art. The festival will end with an exciting gala concert. Thus, “Makon Fest-2024”, one of the most important events in the spiritual life of Uzbekistan, will undoubtedly open another bright page in the history of the country’s culture and tourism.
