Tashkent to host International Kurash Tournament
On September 6, Tashkent will host the First International Kurash Tournament for the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in “Uzbekistan” sports complex.
On September 6, Tashkent will host the First International Kurash Tournament for the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in “Uzbekistan” sports complex.
During the tournament for the first time in the history of kurash the championships will be held in absolute weight, combining traditional and modern directions of this sport. The prize fund of the prestigious tournament is 100,000 USD. The winner of the competition will receive a cash in the amount of $50,000.
The main goal of holding such championships is to popularize kurash in the world, which is our national value, and to increase the interest of youth in this sport.
