The Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan organized a press conference dedicated to the forthcoming Tashkent International Biennale of Contemporary Art (October 24-28).

“Artist and society. Concepts of the future art” is the theme of the IX Tashkent International Biennale of Contemporary Art. The modern global world demonstrates quite complex ideas, actions, concepts, strategies and technologies.

To participate in the cultural forum, authors and creative groups from various countries proposed the following areas:

– modern art (painting, graphics, sculpture);

– contemporary art (installation, video and photo art, conceptual art).

A practical conference on “The artist and society. Concepts of the future art” will be held within the framework of the Biennale.
