By decision of the Executive Committee of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), the FIA General Assembly and the FIA Awards ceremony will be held in Tashkent in December 2025.

On the eve of this prestigious event, held in Uzbekistan for the first time, a meeting was held with officials from the National Olympic Committee and the National Autosport and Karting Federation of Uzbekistan.

The preparations for this event were reviewed during the meeting, which was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Otabek Umarov. Based on the opinions and suggestions, the responsible persons were given specific tasks to organize the event at a high level and create all the necessary conditions for the reception of foreign delegations.

Issues related to logistics, volunteers’ work, information support for participants, and the cultural program were considered.

The meeting of the General Assembly of the International Automobile Federation is expected to be attended by representatives of national motor sports federations and members of the FIA Executive Committee operating in almost 150 countries.
