Tashkent to host Expert forum between Central Asian analytical centers
The first Expert forum between the analytical centers of Central Asian countries will be held in Tashkent on October 29.
On October 29, the first Expert forum between the analytical centers of Central Asian countries will be held in Tashkent. Its goal is to create a platform for discussing issues of ensuring regional development and security, as well as developing practical proposals and recommendations for the heads of states of the region.
The forum will be attended by experts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
At the event, it is planned to consider issues of fighting religious extremism, terrorism, drug trafficking, prospects for cooperation in the sphere of politics, trade, investment, transport communications, infrastructure integration, as well as development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the Central Asian countries.
Organizers of the event are the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia.
