On 16-20 December this year, Tashkent will host the Asian Karate Championship.

It is expected that several leaders of international sports organizations will arrive at the official events of the championship, which will be attended by the leading karatekas of the continent.

Yesterday, at the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov and Chairman of Uzbekistan Karate Federation Rashid Talipov met the President of the World Karate Federation Antonio Espinós and President of the Asian Karate Federation Nasser Al Sayed Abdulrazak Alrazooqi.

The arrival of the teams that will fight for medals at the championship will begin today.

The head of the WKF Referee Commission Javier Escalante held a workshop before the championship, in Tashkent. About 400 karate specialists from over 30 countries attended the event.
