Tashkent will host the international summit Central Asia Warehouse Summit (CAWS) – a large-scale industry event initiated by IBC Global.
The summit venue will bring together developers, investors, logistics operators, retail representatives, and government agencies. Such a composition of participants will enable examination of the industry from various perspectives – from strategic planning and macroeconomics to practical issues of designing and operating warehouse complexes. CAWS is conceived as a platform for the active exchange of experience, the establishment of business contacts, and the showcasing of technological innovations.
A separate focus of the program will be presenting warehouse real estate investment funds with total capital exceeding $250 million. This underscores the high level of investor interest in the region and creates additional opportunities to finance promising projects.
The summit agenda includes issues related to the investment potential of Uzbekistan and Central Asia, an analysis of macroeconomic trends, a review of the warehouse real estate market, and forecasts for its development. Participants will also discuss sources of financing, modern approaches to warehouse design and construction, and the impact of retail and e-commerce on the logistics sector.
More than 150 representatives of retail chains, logistics companies, and e-commerce businesses from Central Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States are expected to attend CAWS. Among the invited participants are top managers of Uzum, Korzinka, Havas, Ozon, Yandex, Lamoda, Magnit, CDEK, and other leading companies.
