Tashkent to host a Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the CIS Member States
Tashkent will host the 18th Session of the Council of Justice Ministers of the CIS Member States on October 17.
The Ministers of Justice of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan will take part in it.
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan joined the Council on November 19, 2019, and has been headed by the Minister of Justice Akbar Tashkulov since January 1, 2024.
On the eve of the session, a working meeting of experts from the Ministries of Justice of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan will take place. The participants will discuss draft decisions and documents included in the agenda of the Session of the Council of Ministers of Justice.
Following the meeting, specific promising proposals for further cooperation within the framework of the Council will be developed.
