Tashkent Spring Opera and Ballet Festival welcomes art fans
Tashkent Spring International Opera and Ballet Festival has kicked off at the State Academic Grand Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.
Opera and ballet stars from Kazakhstan, Russia, South Korea, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and other foreign countries will delight art fans on the stage for ten days.
During the festival, such performances as "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi, "The Tsar's Bride" by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, "Lucia di Lammermoor" by Gaetano Donizetti, the choreographic part of the opera "Prince Igor" by Alexander Borodin ("Polovtsian Dances"), "Chopiniana" by Frederic Chopin and other masterpieces of world classics will be presented to fans of opera and ballet art.
Tashkent Spring International Opera and Ballet Festival will open with a new version of the ballet performance by composer Anvar Ergashev's "Humo".
