There are 891 secondary education institutions in Tashkent region. As of April 26 this year, 100 schoolchildren and 42 teachers of 72 secondary schools have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection.

The educational process in 64 schools has been transferred to the online mode. Only 11th-grade students of eight schools will study remotely.

There are 514 preschool education institutions in the region. Children of nine kindergartens have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection. Seven preschool education institutions and two groups in two other kindergartens have been completely transferred to the online mode.

According to Tashkent Regional Department of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service, on April 26, COVID-19 was detected in 55 citizens of the region.
