Tashkent region hosts Jeep Sprint International Championships

The Jeep Sprint International Championships took place in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region. It was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Auto Moto Tourism Association, the Hokimiyat of Tashkent region.

More than 50 professional drivers and about 20 amateurs from Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan took part in the championships. They competed on their specially prepared ATVs in the categories of light off-road and extreme off-road.

“We participated in the championships not only for the prize. The Jeep Sprint races are full of unexpected events and risks. It’s not easy to win in them”, Dmitry Fesenko, one of the winners of the competition, the pilot of the Genesis team said.

Dmitry Fesenko, together with his partner Timur Yarullin, was the first to come to the finish line in the Light SUVs category.

According to the results of the competition, the Stels team took 1st place, the Tovoqsoy team 2nd, and The Best Chust team 3rd place in the ATV category.

In the Light SUVs, the 1st place went to the Genesis team, the 2nd place was taken by the Jazz team, the 3rd by the GSS team.

The Fortuna team took 1st place, The Best Chust team 2nd and the KIP team 3rd place in the Extreme Off-Road category.

The organizers of the championships awarded the winners with unusual cups, diplomas, valuable gifts and souvenirs. In addition, participants who took an active part in the competitions were awarded cups and awards in various nominations. It should be noted that the purpose of organizing this project is to develop in the country of auto and moto tourism, tourism on ATVs, jeeping, ecotourism, as well as study problems and proposals, protecting the rights and interests of auto-motorists visiting the country.
