More than one hundred racquet masters from twenty countries are taking part in the tournament, which is held for the twentieth time.
The first tennis player of Uzbekistan Sabina Sharipova lost to Russian Margarita Gasparyan in the first round – 2:6, 2:6. Eugenie Bouchard from Canada defeated Nao Hibino from Japan with a score of 6:3, 6:3. Tatjana Maria from Germany won the Russian Natalia Vikhlyantseva with a score of 6:1, 6:2.
