At the initiative of the Head of the state, 14 new metro stations were commissioned in 2020, the length of which is more than 20 kilometers. The number of stations has reached 43. According to the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, another seven stations with a length of 11 kilometers are planned to be launched in 2022.
