Condé Nast Traveler has named Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, and the Centre for Islamic Civilization among the top travel destinations to visit in June.

In an article titled The Best Places to Visit in June, from Route 66 to Uzbekistan, these destinations are described as culturally and historically significant and worth attention from tourists worldwide.

As noted in the publication, Tashkent is among the largest cities in Central Asia, and various civilizations have played a significant role in its historical growth. The cultural influence of different nations is also visible in the city’s modern architectural landscape.

Special emphasis is given to the Centre for Islamic Civilization. The authors highlight that this large cultural and enlightenment complex combines museum exhibits, displays, and educational spaces, providing extensive information about the history of Islamic culture, science, and spiritual heritage.
