Several events were held in Tashkent yesterday before the opening ceremony of the 13th Tashkent International Film Festival “Pearl of the Silk Road”.

Meetings were held with filmmakers from Russia, Turkey, the United States and Israel. The participants noted that the film festival will make a worthy contribution to the establishment of cooperation with filmmakers from all over the world and the creation of joint films.

Traditionally, the opening of the 13th Tashkent International Film Festival “Pearl of the Silk Road” is preceded by a ceremony presenting movie stars on the red carpet.
