Tashkent International Arbitration Center discusses mediation prospects with leading experts from Singapore
Representatives of Tashkent International Arbitration Center (TIAC) at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan held business meetings with leading experts from Singapore.
Representatives of Tashkent International Arbitration Center (TIAC) at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan held business meetings with leading experts of Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) and Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC) within the framework of judicial-legal reform program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and identify key factors in rapid development of mediation as a method of resolving international disputes in Singapore, as well as study the system for obtaining accreditation of international mediators.
Following the meetings, representatives of TIAC, SIMI and SIMC discussed prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in exchanging specialists and opening training programs for interested students and practicing mediators to further develop this institute in Uzbekistan.
