Tashkent hosts a Week of Dialogue with Entrepreneurs.
Within the framework of this forum, dedicated to improving the business environment in the country and creating conditions for foreign investors and businesspeople, thematic panel sessions were held in the context of the main areas of work of the week.
Nine panel sessions, as well as B2B, B2G, and B2C meetings are planned to be held to conduct an open dialogue based on the received questions from entrepreneurs.
Reports were heard on supporting foreign investors and entrepreneurs in the country through the provision of subsidies, the development of a mutually interesting partnership between the business community, government authorities, management bodies and other organizations, assistance in the implementation of start-ups, innovative ideas in starting a business.
First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Aziz Voitov noted that in recent years, to improve the investment environment in the country, significant work has been carried out to strengthen the legal framework, protect the interests of investors, and build a New Uzbekistan.
The issue of improving the procedure for obtaining permission to start construction on privatized facilities was considered at the parallel sectional meeting “Privatization, provision of buildings, protection of the inviolability of private property”.
The work on the sale of vacant buildings through the “E-Auksion” system, plans, measures to ensure the protection of private property and its inviolability within the framework of international agreements were analyzed during the discussion.
It should be noted that last year, on August 20, an open dialogue was held between the President of Uzbekistan and entrepreneurs for the first time in the history of the country. In preparation for the dialogue, more than 15 thousand questions, proposals, and initiatives were received from business entities, most of which were resolved positively.
