Tashkent hosts the Uzchess Cup International Tournament, which has a total prize fund of $166 thousand and is attended by 10 of the world’s leading top-class chess players.

Thirty chess players, divided into Masters, Challengers, and Futures groups, are fighting for victory in the tournament.

The third round of the tournament took place on June 8. Uzbekistan’s players recorded 1 victory, 6 draws, and 2 defeats in this round.

The tournament will run until June 14.
