Tashkent hosts Uzbekistan – UK Education Forum.

The forum was organized to discuss priority areas of higher education in Uzbekistan, the UK, and the world, as well as ways and implementation methods through transnational cooperation.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, Westminster International University in Tashkent, the British Council, and the University of Westminster.

Representatives from about 20 UK higher education institutions and centers and influential experts attended the event.

It was noted that the parties’ policy in higher education, cooperation, and practical experience in this direction will be one of the main issues on the agenda.

As part of the forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan and the British Quality Assurance Agency, as well as more than 30 agreements with partner organizations.
