Tashkent hosted another round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Qatar.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the delegations were led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhromjon Aloyev, and the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.

The parties discussed proposals for further intensifying cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar in politics, diplomacy, trade and economy, transport, energy, science, and culture.

Views were exchanged on issues of international and regional politics, including the situation in Afghanistan.
